The Dead Web

This strip is sort of an homage to the first episode of the original Twilight Zone series, "Where Is Everybody," where a man finds himself trapped in a kind of living ghost town -- empty, yet seemingly watching in a mysteriously creepy way. The story is about space travelers, but could also apply pretty well to web surfers.

Speaking of which, along with all the spiderbots, the web could really use some roboworms.
